Well so far my plan for daily blogging hasn't quite worked out. Mainly because I didn't get up to anything interesting yesterday other than a quick visit from the parentals and their hound (who by the end of the visit needed to be taken to the vets due to an angry looking and itchy ear), a trip to the launderette (and getting funny looks from passers buy as I rather childishly wrapped my self up in freshly tumble dries sheets) and baking a few fairy cakes (of which The Yorkshireman ate half of before I could even ice them!).

Today was far more exciting as there was a trip to the John Lewis haberdashery department primarily for the buying of bondaweb but also for an oogle and a fondle of all the lovely yarn. I am, unfortunately, a bit of a wool addict. There is nothing more satisfying than holding squishy balls of wool in your hands and enjoying their candy bright colours just for the sake of it. This is usually frowned upon by the more 'serious' knitters as well as the shop assistants as I usually leave having jumbled up the display and only having purchased one ball of wool! Ah well, its the simple thing I guess.

The second enjoyable activity of the day was spending some time with the 'other' man in my life, the ever excitable Joseph Morton-Fuller. Admittedly this particular chap is covered in white hair, travels on four leggs and is only on loan from his Mummy, but we usually make the most of our short time together by having a merry jaunt around the park up the road. This usually consists of me getting dragged around the park as every bush, treestump and puddle must be investigated. If the weather is fine then we'll have bit of a run around and some ball/squirrel chasing, but today has been rather damp and muggy and buch of the park seemed to be underwater after yesterdays downpours so we had to give the running and chasing a miss today. Sadly I don't seem to be able to upload any of the photos I took today but when The Yorkshireman returns hopefully he will be able to work some computer magic or at least tell me what I'm doing wrong!

Well that seems to be it for today so I'll sign off and see you all after the weekend.

xx
